Robert Marlowe, a seasoned account veteran, takes Homer under his wing and shows Homer what the high life is like in the corner office. The job changes Homer into a sad individual, who drinks in the dark and complains about the meaninglessness of his job. When Homer's long hours at the office become the norm and Homer becomes distant from his family, a family vacation with Marge and the children help him realize that family always comes before work. Meanwhile, Lisa introduces Bart to a new literary world which sparks his interest in reading classic novels. As Mr. Burns and the executives are about to go over the waterfall, Marlowe rides up on a motorboat and carries Mr. Burns to safety, while the executives fall over the edge. Homer goes over the waterfall by himself, but is completely unharmed. Later, at their house, Homer tells Marge that he is a safety inspector again. The opening
When Bart, Lisa and Maggie come home from trick-or-treating, Marge switches out the candy with dental hygiene products and asks Homer to deliver the candy to a drive for the troops overseas. Homer instead runs off with the bag to eat its contents in privacy at a canyon cliff. Unfortunately, Homer trips and falls to the bottom of the canyon with his arm pinned. Fueled by his need to get the out-of-reach bag of candy, and reluctant to wait twenty minutes for help, Homer is forced to chew off his arm. Though he manages it after a few tries, Homer learns that he was carrying a bag of vegetables, as Bart, Lisa and Maggie had secretly stolen back their candy.

The Diving Bell and the Butterball
Homer begins to decorate the house for Halloween and is reaching for a decorations in a box. Unfortunately, there is a real Black Widow spider in the box and when Homer is grabbing for what he thinks is a plastic spider, he gets bitten by the real one. The bite leaves Homer unable to move or talk. When Lisa reads for him, she discovers that he can communicate through flatulence. The Simpson family is amazed at the result and Lisa helps Homer tell Marge how he feels about her. When he is again bitten by another spider (a radioactive one), he spontaneously gains the ability to make spider webs and have the same abilities as Spider-Man, even when still paralyzed. Homer is able to shoot spider webs out of his rear end.

Dial D for Diddly
After hearing who he thinks is God tell him to murder people, Ned Flanders becomes a serial killing vigilante, targeting characters who are Homer's enemies. When Flanders discovers that Homer is the one who has been duping him into committing murder (by way of a Bible-shaped receiver), Homer argues that God does not exist and burns the radio receiver, only to be stopped and strangled to death by God Himself. Marge begs God to reverse everything that has happened, but God tells her that Satan is the one who is running the world. When Flanders thinks that this scenario cannot get any worse, it is revealed that Satan is having sex with Ned's deceased wife, Maude.

In the Na'Vi
In the future, Krusty the Clown is still alive, but has trouble entertaining his Nazi audience. On the distant planet Rigel Seven there is a sacred extract called Hilarrium, which causes people to get in a better mood. Krusty desperately needs this sacred extract and uses military force to obtain it. The military recruits Bart and Milhouse to befriend the alien race in avatar bodies. They succeed in this and Bart ends up getting Kang's daughter pregnant. It turns out that the extract Hilarrium, which is excreted by their queen, is primarily used by the natives to reduce the mood swings from pregnant women and Bart and Milhouse are shown where the alien race gets it from. Milhouse then reveals the location of the extract to the military, which then attacks the natives. In the battle, the natives are helped by all the animals of the planet, which eventually defeats the military. Kang and Kodos then admit that they would have just given the Hilarrium to the humans.

About The Simpsons Movie:
The Simpsons Movie is an animated comedy film after the television series The Simpsons.
In was aired on 26/27 July 2007 and it was a real success.
The Simpsons Movie was directed by David Silverman, and stars the regular television cast of Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer, Tress MacNeille, and Pamela Hayden. It features Albert Brooks as Russ Cargill, the evil head of the Environmental Protection Agency who intends to destroy Springfield after Homer pollutes the lake. As the townspeople exile him and eventually his family abandons him, Homer works to redeem his folly by stopping Cargill's scheme.
There were previous attempts to create a Simpsons film, but they failed to do it because of the lack of a script of appropriate length and production crew members. Anyway, it is a good thing that they managed to do it in the end.
I don't want to spoil your pleasure of watching The Simpsons Movie by giving you a complete plot, so I'm only telling you that Homer pollutes the town's water supply by accident and the entire Springfield is covered by a gigantic glass dome, by the EPA organization. The entire population of Springfield turns against the Simpson family and they are declared fugitives.
Homer must find a solution to please his family and to save Springfield from certain destruction.
I must say that this movie is incredible well done. The action, the scenario, the specific humor and everything is here. I watched it many times and I hope that you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

About this Simpsons Episode:
The Simpsons - Treehouse of Horror XXIII is the second episode form season 24  and 510 overall in the series, being part of the Halloween specials (Treehouse of Horror Series).
The plot of this Episode has four parts:

Opening sequence
The episode opens an ancient Mayan city, a sacrifice is about to take place to prevent the end of the world from happening at the end of the 13th Baktun. A Mayan Homer, who has been fattened up to be sacrificed, hears about it for the first time (as he did not pay attention during orientation) and attempts to back out to no avail. However, his wife, a Mayan Marge, tricks a guard, a Mayan Moe, into getting himself sacrificed instead by promising him sex. After the sacrifice, a Mayan Professor Frink confirms that the world will end after the 13th Baktun, which, accounting for the Gregorian calendar and the birth of Jesus, puts the end of days in the year 2012 (with the Mayan Mayor Quimby placing the blame on Obama).
In the present, Homer encounters three Mayan stone gods, mistaking them for trick-or-treaters. One of them steps on Homer, then jumps on Flanders' house. The stone trio wreak havoc on Springfield and the world, destroying popular landmarks, causing rivers of lava to appear, and splitting the earth into large fissures. Once their destruction is done, they fly off, leaving the Earth to explode. In its place, the bloodied title, "Treehouse of Horror XXIII" appears.

The Greatest Story Ever Holed
The citizens of Springfield gather to witness the activation of the Springfield Particle Accelerator, although they originally wanted to use the money to build a new baseball stadium, but Lisa convinced them otherwise. Professor Frink activates the machine and it works, but nothing exciting happens, and everyone blames Lisa for her suggestion (with Lenny adding that the money they wasted on the particle accelerator could have been used for a war). When everyone is gone, two particles collide with each other and create a small black hole which floats off. Lisa finds it, and after it sucks up Ralph and Nelson, she takes it so that it will not cause any more trouble. The Simpsons put it in the basement and Lisa warns them not to throw anything in it or otherwise it will grow bigger, but of course Homer, Bart and Marge decide to use it as a trash disposal, and Homer even opens a business allowing people to throw their junk into it. But the black hole becomes huge and consumes everything in sight. The only person who is not sucked in is Maggie, whose pacifier flies into the black hole, inexplicably stopping it. Meanwhile, all of Springfield has been warped to an alternate planet, where aliens worship their trash.

Un-Normal Activity
When strange events occur at the Simpson house, Homer sets up cameras to photograph what is haunting them over a period of fifteen days. The culprit, while attempting to abduct Maggie, is revealed to be a Moe-like demon with whom Marge made a deal to save her sisters who summoned the demon as part of a Satanic ritual. However, as part of the deal to leave Patty and Selma alone, the demon would return 30 years later to take Marge's favorite child as payment (which turns out to be Maggie, much to Lisa's shock). Homer manages to convince the demon to relinquish the bargain in return for Homer to reluctantly engage in three-way sex with him and another demon.

Bart and Homer's Excellent Adventure
Bart travels back to 1974 in Professor Frink's time machine to buy a comic book at 25 cents instead of the current $200 price at the Android Dungeon. He then finds Homer in high school, just moments before he meets Marge for the first time (as seen in the season two episode "The Way We Was," when the two met each other in detention). Before Bart returns to 2012, he tells Marge (who is already angry at teenage Homer for strangling Bart) to never get married to Homer. When Bart returns to 2012, he finds that Artie Ziff is now his father and the family is rich and successful, to the point where Nelson Muntz is now hired as Bart's butler and personal punching bag. 1970s Homer, who stowed away into the trunk of the time machine, finds out about Marge and meets 2012 Homer, who wants Marge. The two devise a plan, summoning every time incarnation of Homer to beat up Artie. Though the Homers lose badly despite greatly outnumbering Artie, they wind up winning over Marge, who takes pity on the beaten Homers.

Before Homer can rush out of the booth to tell the press, he is sucked into a tube and gets outsourced to a factory somewhere in China, where U.S.A. flags are being made. Homer is initially satisfied with the outcome because he has got a steady job until Selma comes out of the tube.

Homer's neglect to fix a dripping faucet causes the water to seep underground and create a massive cavern underneath the town square. The ground eventually caves in, just as Marge drives her car into the hole. She and the kids manage to get out, but Marge is unable to recover her car as the hole is soon filled up with useless items and covered with an asphalt layer, burying the car. With the car gone, Marge purchases a new one, a Nissan Sensible, but she dislikes it and it is unknown why. Eventually, Homer gets her to reveal her reason behind the disapproval of the new car: Marge feels that the car, as it seats five, destroys her chances at having another baby, which she secretly wanted to have. Though Homer approves of Marge's desire to have another baby, he is actually horrified by it, feeling that three kids are enough for him to handle. Homer and Marge later find that their chances at having a baby are still nonexistent, as Homer's sperm are dead. However, Moe reveals that Homer sold some of his sperm to the Shelbyville Fertility Clinic a few years back. Homer and Marge head for the clinic, and Homer tries to divert Marge's attention by taking a historic route and stopping by several places. This plan fails, prompting him to admit his true feelings about another baby to Marge. This angers her and the two drive home. During a stop at a restaurant, however, Homer observes a family of six and finds that the father is enjoying himself with the fourth, youngest child. Changing his mind, he and Marge return to their original plan and arrive at the clinic. There, Marge is horrified to learn that Homer sold a lot of sperm to the clinic, resulting in a huge number of Homer-like babies. This forces her to tell Homer that they should probably wait, and Homer agrees. They later watch a movie, where Homer spots a set of septuplets matching his facial description, and all eight yell out, "D'oh!"
In a subplot, Bart and Milhouse find a message dropped by Lisa that reads in cursive, "The five boxing wizards jump quickly." They also see Lisa sneak off into a taxicab. Intrigued, the two recruit Nelson and Ralph, both previous boyfriends of Lisa's, in hopes of profiling her mind to find the meaning of the message. While following Lisa, Nelson and Ralph find another message, also in cursive, saying, "Sphinx of black quartz, judge my vow." The group's efforts in finding out what the messages mean go nowhere, and by this time, Principal Skinner, who is concerned from Lisa's strange disappearances, has joined them. Skinner deduces that the paper used for both messages only belongs to the previous principal of Springfield Elementary School, Meredith Milgram. The five visit her house and find Lisa there. Lisa reveals that she had started learning cursive (of which, Skinner reveals that Springfield Elementary's budget cannot afford teaching students to write cursive) and that the two messages were practice sentences, as both consisted of every letter from the alphabet. Bart and the other boys are shocked to learn that the reason behind this mystery was a mere after-school class, but Skinner finds enjoyment in the solution. The episode ends with the credits all written in cursive handwriting.
